I had no idea my knee wasn't the real problem

For years I'd been told what everyone my age gets told: that's just the years, learn to live with it. What nobody explained is the number: on stairs, up to seventeen times your bodyweight goes through one small spot, about 2cm below the kneecap. Not on the kneecap. Under it. Every step, same spot.
The Stryde strap sits right on that spot, applies focused pressure and redirects the force away before it lands. It doesn't squeeze. It doesn't heat. It redirects.
I did the stairs test the first morning. Down, forwards, without grabbing the banister. Then I took it off and went back up the old way: sideways, hand clamped to the rail. Put it back on. Forwards. My knee was never the problem. Where the force goes was.
